Who
needs to be Adopted? The Body: Normally when we think of adoption we often think about children as a parent would. However, it should be understood that really what this is about having God’s heart. He adopted us and if we are to be like Him we are to adopt others. To start with, the body. Scripture tells us that they will know they are Mine by their love one for the other. This is important to understand. Either that love is there or not and if it is not then there is a reason and that reason needs to be dealt with. The truth is, if we cannot love each other in the body, how can we love those not in the body? We also need to understand that when we love each other we are also loving Him, because what we do even to the very least of these we do to Him. If we loved each other in the body and cared for each other as much as we are supposed to love Him, we would have to preach to the world, the world would be banging down the doors to get into the church, because they would see the love one for the other. There are three basic reasons why people go to church. One: because they are part of the body and reach out to each other in love. The other reason they go to a church is to get some teaching for the enrichment of their own lives. This type of church usually is rather large and also rather impersonal as most that go to the church do not even know each other. The other reason is perhaps because of a sense of duty, perhaps because of tradition or because it has turned into a social club.
Neighborhoods: With the power of God in agreement we have been given the power of God in heaven and earth to change all things in love and unity as long as we work in and with His ministry, the five-fold gift ministry. Often we hear that drugs, crime and a host of other problems are occurring. The answer of this was given in His covenants. Jesus represented all of the covenants but it is up to each one of us to stand with each other in His ways and covenant promises and look to Him for provision. We are to represent His will to all that we met and if we do so it will have an effect on all those we meet. Their choice is to either continue as they are or do something different. If the choose to do something different and let God in through Christ then there is hope even for the worst of the worst. We are there in the area to represent His love, forgiveness and provision in His covenants. It is our responsibility to God to do so, especially if we have been given the keys to the kingdom of God and all power and authority in heaven and earth. We have the ability to change everything that is happening around us if we gather to seek His will in all things and learn to trust Him and His ways. Those called to Ministry: Although we are all called to be ministers of reconciliation and ambassadors for Christ, there are those that have been called to ministry in a full time capacity that need the help of the body. These that have been called and chosen should understand that they need to work in the five fold gift ministry for Him ways to be accomplished and His provision, but also they need the help of the body, to stand with them, pray for them and support them. When they are blessed by God, so are you as a supporter of those called to serve. Each of us is to understand God’s plan for all people on earth and all believers need to take an active role to help ensure that His will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Prayer is a big part of ministry. His house is a house of prayer and through prayer in His will and power strongholds of the enemy come down. Those sent to the field need to communicate what is happening where they are sent so people can pray for them effectively. Prayer teams are the support staff of those sent. Prayer and praise opens the doors to all things including finances. Adoption is needed for us to become involved. When we take a step in faith to adopt those sent of God we are blessed by standing with them. They need your help in the field. Peoples: If we can work together to change neighborhoods, towns and begin to reach cities we also should be adopting “peoples.” What is meant by this is a race of people and praying for the race of people to meet God. That involves seeking God in unity to see that these peoples of the world met God. Governments and Politicians and those placed in Authority: Believe it or not, not many pray for governments, politicians and those placed in authority. Believers often do not like what is happening and as a result stop praying for them. Some pray that certain things are done and certain laws or bills are passed. VERY few pray to seek God’s will be done in their lives and for the Spirit of God to be released in their lives. We all know that there is power in corporate praise and worship. There is just as much power if not more in corporate prayer, releasing the Holy Spirit on peoples or politicians, especially if the group praying are praying in one accord and in line with scripture and as a part of His ministry in the five-fold gift ministry. Individuals: When we see people on the street do we sort of speed up and try to ignore them or do we stop and send them to the church we go to for help? Does the church we go to desire to help those in need? One way God does reach out to people is through crisis. Often times people will not listen of even seek God unless they are in some sort of crisis, either health, finances or may even need counseling of some sort. We are not to judge why they need help, but accept the fact that they need help and God sent them to us so they might get to know God and His ways. A word about Services, being a servant and serving: Scripture tells us that God is a servant even to the servant, it is one of the things that makes Him so great. Today, many have a misunderstanding about being a servant and what a servant actually is. A servant from God’s perspective is one sent by Him to be of service to others. It is a role to help the person, not were either is over the other, like what we would think of as a servant, but there to demonstrate His love and will if they want to walk with the body. It is not a thing of bondage and neither should adoption be, but one rather of loves seeking God’s will for the people being helped and not just praying about them receiving stuff. According to our covenant promises God will provide if people learn to walk in His ways. We are there to represent His ways and to walk with them if they chose to walk and seek God.
What we give, we receive in all areas of life, whether it be finances or love or even respect. Jesus paid a high price so we could Tabernacle with God. He did so out of love for all. God Tabernacles with those that follow His ways and learn to do things His way, being led by His Spirit, and not our wants. It is about giving Him our lives and our wills. We do so because we have come to understand there is nothing good in any of us and that we all need His forgiveness and mercy. Those that have been forgiven much and we all have, love much. We are responsible….. When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, We want our hand always to be there. For that we are responsible. We are responsible both to God and each other.
"Together we can make a change, we can make a difference!"
" God gave us His Son, Spirit, Love, Direction, Purpose, Gifts, and free will. He gave us all the basic tools to either care for Him and others or care just for ourselves.
It is a choice either way, to either learn to work together to solve problems, but at the end, when it is all said and done, our true hearts will be exposed. We are given two things to do, love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. |
