PARTNERSHIPS IN MINISTRY

MINISTERS, CHURCHES, COMMUNITIES, &  CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATIONS

"Working Together as One Body with Many Parts" to Solve Problems and Help those in Need Locally, Nationally & Globally.

No one church or organization has the resources or the manpower to solve the problems, but by working together in unity we can solve the needs of individuals, families, and the community!

The Alliance of Accredited Ministers and Churches is focused on encouraging individuals, pastors, churches, and organizations to work together to solve the needs of individuals and families in the community. No one person or group has the complete answer, but we all as one body can accomplish all things through Christ (Jesus is the head and we as believers are the body).

We are responsible…..

When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, we want our hand always to be there. For that we are responsible.

We are responsible both to God

and each other.

                         Local, National, And Global Problems!

Hunger, Homelessness, Abuse,                Addictions, And Crime!

About the "Problems"

There are two major hurtles to overcome to deal with the the needs. We all know the problems. Everyone is affected one way or the other by the problems, either as a victim or just by increased taxes. Many today do not feel that there is hope, or even that there is a future, for us, or our children. Governments do not have the solution. In fact many government leaders have thrown up their hands because they do not see any solutions to these problems.

More taxes and throwing more money at the problem are not the solution. These problems un-solvable by man, and can only be changed by Jesus as these things are matters of the heart. When the heart is changed, everything changes; work, home, service to community and God. People become productive, giving instead of taking.

When the church helps facilitate this, all win; individuals, families, the church, and the community.

The second major hurtle to overcome is our beliefs which is probably the biggest hurtle to overcome in deciding whether or not we are responsible for the plight of others. Our Covenants, promises, and blessings from God is effected when we as the church are not taking care of the needs of others.  How? We are commanded to love God with all of our heart and love our neighbor as ourselves. Loving our neighbor is caring and doing something about their needs. If we do not care enough to do something then where is our love for God? Our Love for God effects our covenant with God and His will for His people.

How it Works! Top

The first step to fixing anything is to take responsibility for it. In doing so we can do something about it. By the church understanding the needs of individuals and responding to those needs in unity (corporately as one body), interceding in prayer and the willingness to do something, Jesus will supply the need.  We judge people worth or not by what we do or do not do.

Jesus has called His church (body), to be holy (separated). To be a light!

The Solutions to the Worlds Problems rest in the hands of the believer!

 II Chronicles 7:14

God has promised that if we come in humility, turn from our wicked ways, God will hear our prayers and heal the land.

Churches

     Christian Schools

          Prison Ministries,

                Counseling,

                     Job Placement,

Transitional Housing, And Food Distribution, Locally, and Globally!

Recognizing that there are many who have dedicated their lives to help solve the problems. Our Daily Bread, Missions, Ministries, Bible Institute and its local chapters have worked together to design the program, Partnerships in Ministry, combining and utilizing the resources of existing ministries, local churches and the community.

Working with existing prison ministries ODB can supply Bibles, tracts, and correspondence studies. Local chapters working with churches helping to establish Fellowship Houses for the transition back to the community once released from prison, connecting the person being released, and their families with local churches for support. At the same time ODB and its volunteers work to help place the individual(s) back in the work force.

It's a Choice!  Top

We as the leaders of the church are responsible not only to those in need, but God, and our congregations as well! We teach our congregations to either be sensitive to God or not. It is not possible to be sensitive to God and ignore the needs of those around us. We lead our congregations either towards sensitivity and God's will for us or we lead them down a path to destruction, which will be devastating for us.

If we the church, continue to do the same things that we have always done, we will probably continue to get the same results.

James 1:22, 2:15-18

We the church are called to be doers of the Word and not hearers only! James is not talking about just preaching, but interceding, loving our neighbor as ourselves.

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food.  And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doeth it profit?  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

A Call to Action!  Top

Its time for all believers to come together to pray, tithe, and become involved. We have the solution, but do we have the resolve? What can our excuse be?

If you would like more information about Our Daily Bread, Missions, Ministries, Bible Institute, this program, how to start a local chapter, or how to become involved, click here.

As a member of the Association you are also doing something to help end Hunger, Starvation, and Homelessness in America and the world. We believe as ministers and churches that it is in part our responsibility to end the needless waste of life. We support ODB and Ministries Food Bank (Loaves & Fishes) in its efforts to end the needless suffering.

Catch the vision, together we can make a difference! We have His Covenant on it! As Ministers in faith we have to hold His Covenant. As leaders, our Congregations will not do something if we are not willing to lead them, and if we are not willing to lead, then we are not leaders.

We need to all understand who we are in Christ, what our authority is and what is our responsibility to a hurting world. If we all understood our authority through Christ, (the anointed), and His gifts to us, the world could not be in it’s current shape. The costs of not going to God are war, disease, poverty, droughts, starvation and death. It was never meant that we should have a world with all of these disasters happening.

As a partner, either joining an existing chapter or beginning your own, you are joining a group dedicated to the Word, Jesus Christ and the work of the ministry. Helping to get the Word to all in need and as we help others, they through Christ begin to help themselves. Help us supply Bibles and study material to prisons, nursing homes, hospitals and the military.

Help as you work with inmates in prison. With counseling, mentor-ships, seminars in churches, schools, etc.

Help to establish more Fellowship Houses to serve as transitional housing for prisoners released from prison or for people with drug and alcohol problems. Fellowship Houses offer a unique opportunity for growth as they seek God; work in the community to help those in need as they themselves were helped.

Each chapter of Our Daily Bread Ministries is self-supporting and self governing. As we work together to help each other the Body becomes stronger as we become one with Christ. Fellowship Houses are formed with the idea of seeking God. Partners strive to live the life that Christ lived.

Together, as the Body of Christ, we are the Body of God's anointing, grace, justice, and love on the earth today. Each one of us has a God-given supply of anointing to offer the people in the world and the Body. God gave this planet to His people through covenant and partnership. "If it going to get done, it is up to us, through Christ."

You have a supply of God's anointing that we the body needs. We have a supply of God's anointing that you need, and so on. It is like the flame of a candle. One flame has some light, but when multiple flames are intertwined together through Jesus the light and the warm can be felt across the world. It is also felt in the world when we do not come together. In order for that anointing to flow among us in its greatest potential, we must join together. We must become divinely connected.

How? Through Partnership.  Top

As a partner you have a voice in what is happening. That voice determines what we do. As a Partner this ministry is in Part your ministry. We are Partners with God and He with us. God's Word tells us that partnership in ministry is the most powerful relationship on the face of the earth. It is a covenant relationship based on the blood of Jesus. It is a relationship of the highest honor. Consequently, it is a relationship of the highest commitment.

At Our Daily Bread, Missions, partnership is more than just a commitment—it's a covenant relationship. We have come to understand that the better our relationship is with our partners, the better our relationship with God will be. We know that God provides for our ministry through your prayers, words of encouragement and support, and in turn, we do everything we can to be a blessing to you. We pray, work to end starvation, disease and homelessness, and stand in faith with each one of our partners for God's anointing in your life and work to minister to your needs through every available method and voice.

Partnership allows each of us to join our individual anointing’s together—to be stronger and to become a beacon of light as a united body can be through Jesus, and touch more lives than we could individually. So whether you're the CEO of a major corporation, a single working parent or a mother home-schooling your children, minister, church or Christian organization, God wants you to be a part of something BIG—right where you are.
