Our
Mission
ODB's
Ambassadors for Christ's mission is to win
and develop children and youth to be leaders
for Christ and leaders in their local
community. To train, encourage, exhort,
mentor our children in Word and deed.
To
teach our children to reach out to other
churches and organizations to become
involved in the needs of the communities in
which we live. To teach our children that we
are called to represent Him in all things.
To help raise up a generation of leaders,
sensitive to the needs of others, founded in
His word and the ability to walk in faith.
To know that all things are possible if we
will work in love and unity as one body with
many parts.
Our
Vision
ODB,
Ambassadors for Christ envisions a world
where mature Christian leaders transform
society for Christ. To work in the body and
with the body to reach all those in need and
leave no stone unturned.

Ambassadors
for Christ is not just a club but an
educational program for middle- and high
school students, focuses on the root causes
of hunger, poverty, homelessness and the
people most affected, solutions, and how
students and the body can help.
The major goal is to stimulate the students
and the body to take some definite follow-up
actions as they begin to realize that one
person can make a difference. It is good for
them, the body and those that are helped.
Although educational in nature we have found
the real joy in life is to be used by God to
help others and that is the greatest reward.
It is about service, learning to serve the
needs of others while growing in Christ and
His purpose for us as a body and as
individuals.
Scripture
is the guide book, but it is bring meaning
and life to the scripture and using it to
help find solutions to hunger and
homelessness. We Can Make A Difference, We
can make a Change by working in love and
unity. It is scriptural and it works.
We can end starvation if we have the will to
do so. Ambassadors for Christ can be used in
middle- and high-schools, after school
programs, churches, clubs, religious
schools, distance learning programs, home
schools, and local food banks. It features
uplifting, engaging, interactive and
challenging lessons on the causes of and
solutions to domestic and international
hunger and homelessness. It examines
contemporary development projects, the role
of the media, famine vs. chronic hunger, the
working poor, and more, as well as valuable
ideas for how young people can make a
difference in their communities and in the
world around them. In the hands of a
creative youth pastor the program is
adaptable to a range of ages. The program
has been updated and contains 2003
statistics and resources.
What
is Ambassadors for Christ really all about?
It is representing Him, the kingdom and
being learning to be sensitive to the needs
of others and understanding that we can
through Christ do all things!
