Membership

“In order to bring Biblical solutions to communities we all need to understand His way’s, who we are in Christ, our authority, purpose, gifts and be willing to walk with Him and each other.”

Who is welcome: Basically all people including, business people, pastors, teachers, etc.

·         Qualifications:

    1. All members must be born again believers who have accepted Christ, as their personal savior, but understand that Christ is both, Jesus as the head and we are the body.

    2. Be hungry and on fire for Him, His way’s, Covenants, Christ, both head and body and be willing to work as one body.

    3. Membership consists of Business and Professional persons engaged in making an honorable living for their families and themselves and work as one body to accomplish the Great Commission, each doing what we have been called to do.

    4. Fees; There are no fees to be a member except to pay for local costs or gatherings. All offerings given go to support the local work as a part of Global Missions Initiative.

    5. Walk with each other, exhort one another, pray for each other and support each others ministry.

    6. Agree with Articles of Faith.

·         Opportunities for Involvement & Service:

    1. Weekly meetings (approximately one hour in length), (include food, usually a breakfast), inspiration and fellowship. A good place to meet, bring people and hear how God is working globally and in peoples lives.

    2. Monthly evening meetings (Discipleship Training) (approximately two and a half hours in length), inspiration and fellowship.

    3. Quarterly or as desired, training sessions and seminars designed to equip believers in their purpose and calling.

    4. Mayor's Prayer breakfast held annually.

    5. Soul Winning Seminars & Purpose driven Seminars (Putting God’s plan to work.

    6. Prison and Jail Ministries and other community outreaches.

    7. Bible & Tract Placement

    8. Chaplains positions in business

    9. Understand local needs of people and churches

·         Benefits: The body working together to accomplish His will.

 

Government Relations

1.      Establishing and maintaining important relationships with elected and appointed officials.

2.      Providing ODB member access to those with influence and authority in government.

3.      Providing access to legislative information on issues affecting all Christians.

4.       Providing a voice globally for Christian Churches, Schools (and Home Schools), Christian Organizations that help feed people and provide shelter.

 

Publications

1.      ODB web based Newsletter-Informing Christians what is happening, why and where.

2.      Daily devotional and inspirational and encouragement through email.

3.      Useful tools, downloadable tracts and brochures, free studies and discounts on ministerial studies.

 

Training

1.      Providing boot-camps, studies, workshops, and specific help for Christian Business Organizations to meet their call in Outreach.

2.      Establishing Regional Affiliates with an emphasis on training, networking, professional development and fellowship.

 

Resources

1.      Resource page (web information, open to all) that Offers Information to help reduce costs of Outreach.

2.      Consulting Services (free to members) offering advice and counseling on specific outreaches or projects that you want to get going.

3.      Exclusive research studies on issues regarding faith, family and the community.

 

Education & Training

1.      Outreach Training to provide and improve your church, organizations or chapter’s outreach.

2.      Worldview training-geared toward content, learning how to respond as one body globally.

 

Networking

1.      Interactions and relationships with other Christian business people and leaders, locally and globally.

2.      Being connected as one body globally to accomplish His will and purpose.
