About Covenant Partnership
Covenant partnership is a relationship—a bond—and in this case not just
between two people or parties much like a business partnership, but with God and
His irrevocable Word. This relationship or covenant occurs by working together
as one body, with all parties, sharing a common goal or objective, joining
forces and resources in order to reach their common goal. Scripture tells us in
Philippians that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (us). In
this we need to understand what Christ means. Christ means anointed, called, and
chosen, but also means that Jesus is the head, and we are the body, making the
relationship of Christ.
We should all as the body share the same goal as Jesus, to love God, love one
another, feed those that are hungry, cloth those naked, and help provide shelter
regardless of the situation, for whatever we do to the least of these we do to
Him. What we do to Him has an impact on our relationship with God. Our Partners
share a common goal: To seek God and His righteousness, to make sure that His
will is done on earth as it is in heaven and reach this world with the
un-compromised word of faith, using every available method and voice by standing
together in faith.
Reaching this world is serious business, it is life and death not only for those
that we help, but life to us as we work to do His will. It is a serious
relationship as Covenant Partners with each other, but God through Christ. It is
a bond established by God to fulfill His purposes, but it is up to us
individually to decide to work together or not. God does not force His will upon
us, but desires that we all work together to get along and resolve the problems
that exist. His will is about unity and relationships and we make a choice to be
about unity, covenants, and relationships, or we choose to "do our own
thing." God’s Covenant in unity is the way to see that His will is done
in love and get the job done. His Covenant is a representation of His people
joining hands and joining forces to bring the message of Christ (two parts
through God) of the Good News and help those in need.
Joining together, each of us brings resources and a supply of God's anointing
into this relationship (Ephesians 4:16) as we continue to successfully proclaim
that "Jesus is Lord" from the top of the world to the bottom and all
the way around.
