Why join ODB?

Joining in ODB, PARTNERSHIPS, MEMBERS & ASSOCIATIONS will strengthen your work through the relationships, resources, training, and creative development opportunities we provide. Together we can not only reach everyone in the world for Christ, but also help them find their purpose and calling, care for their needs in love and walk with them while they learn to do what God has called them to.

We live in a day where the cause of Christ (Jesus and body) is under threat, seemingly from every quarter. This is true for all Christians. Satan does not want us to succeed and he is doing everything he can to stop His work. The only way we can be safe and get the job done is by learning to work together as one body with many parts, sharing resources because the more we learn to give, the more that we receive in order to help others. Unity stops Satan as he works on the weakest links and no one part of the body can get ahead of the rest of the body.

While Christians in general have tremendous influence in bringing the claims of Christ to a culture desperately in need of truth, there are dark and ominous clouds on the horizon, if we do not work together. Jesus came to stop the work of the devil and we through Him, working in unity and love can get the job done. In many areas Christian teaching is designated as hate speech. There are demands that religious groups hire unbelievers in key staff positions, especially if they take federal funding. The Fairness Doctrine is an example of significant contemporary threats to the interests of all Christians, Churches, Schools and Pastoral Counseling Centers.

For over 10 years, ODB has been in the battle to keep the doors of Christian teaching and electronic media open for the spread of the Gospel. As that battle continues to heat up, we continue to work diligently to protect and preserve the rights of Christians. Freedom has a cost, the first is working in unity and the second is financing to keep His work going. Representatives of His will are needed not only in the halls of Congress, and all levels from local government to the Executive Branch in the US and abroad, working to protect the rights and interests of Christians and Christian work.

ODB, and its Members, Partnerships and Associations encourage all Christian Churches and Organizations to learn to work together to preserve religious freedom and strengthen our members' efforts to proclaim the message of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.

Membership in ODB, PARTNERSHIPS, MEMBERS & ASSOCIATIONS is not automatic. Not every Christian group or organization is eligible to join our associations. ODB maintains very high standards for ethics, integrity, and financial accountability. In addition, we have a thoroughly biblical Statement of Faith, which limits our membership to those who fully subscribe to the teachings of the historic Christian faith.
