Ministry Office: Pastor: General Category:  Top 29 Credits: Cost $79 US)  On-Line Enrollment Form Licensed ministers are those whose ministerial calling and gifts have been formally recognized through the granting of a ministerial license, authorizing them for and appointing them to actual service in the ministry, subject to supervision and evaluation. Our Daily Bread, Missions Organization believes all are called and ordained according to John 15:16. Our Daily Bread, Missions provides License for those that desire to take the steps of faith to represent Jesus’ Ministry, the body, and have taken the training offered for one or more of the following to serve in its respective field: General Pastor: Specialized Studies: Old Testament & New Testament Survey, Teaching Tactics, Cognitive Restructuring, Strategies for Harvest, Principles of Multiplication Description of Courses and Optional studies

Pastor: Specialized Training (5) Categories

Ministry Office: Pastor: Pastoral Counseling: Top 38 Credits: (Cost $99 US)  On-Line Enrollment Form  This course is designed to give you foundational, specific instruction in the model and methodology of Biblical counseling from a Christian perspective. Ministry Office: Pastor, Chaplain: Prison/Shut-Ins, Health Care, Police, Fire & Rescue & Military Top 36 Credits: (Cost $89 US)  On-Line Enrollment Form The ration of chaplains and services to inmate population is unconscionably inadequate to respond to the pastoral care needs. In the state's largest prison, there is one chaplain for 1750 inmates. The responsibility to change this situation will rest, in large part, with our faith communities. In areas where the church is involved in prison chaplaincy and other support, recidivism rates are significantly lower than in areas without such pastoral care. Prison/Shut-Ins:  Specialized Studies: Prison Ministries, Cognitive Restructuring, Old Testament & New Testament Survey, Prison Manual (Shut In's Ministry), Crisis, Power Principles & Teaching Tactics  Description of Courses and Optional studies

Ministry Office: Pastor: Youth Top 21 Credits; (Cost $69 US) On-Line Enrollment Form Most youth pastors will come into their new positions in international churches with the basics of youth ministry tucked safely away under their belts, with all the skills, training and experience needed to do youth ministry effectively and successfully in their home culture. The international community is not their home culture; neither is the local city and country, nor is the church or the school. It can be a huge mistake, and sometimes is a ministry-destroying mistake, to assume that youth ministry in the US, the UK, or Australia (among others) is done the same way as youth ministry in the international church and school context. Youth Pastor: : Specialized Studies: Old Testament & New Testament Survey, Principles of Multiplication, and Cognitive Restructuring Description of Courses and Optional studies

Ministry Consultant: Top 48 Credits (Cost $144 US) On-Line Enrollment Form

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.” (Prov. 15:22 NIV)

Help Churches reach out and become healthy!

 Why churches need consultants

Attendance has declined.

Planned giving and/or offerings are declining.

Persons attending do not return or join the church.

Conflict within the church.

This happens often because of one or more of the following:

The church does not have a plan for ensuring its growth either short term and/or long term, and wants to have a plan.

The church desires to start a major effort in its life and ministry; e.g. building expansion, mission effort, capital campaign, etc.

The church is doing okay, but is not sure what its strengths and weakness are, at this moment in its life.

Starting a Full Line Bible School: Top 53 Credits:  (Cost $189 US) On-Line Enrollment Form Combination teaching, administrations, counseling and ministry. Train believers to operate their gift callings in the five-fold gift ministry. Full line of courses help believers find their callings and help prepare them to do what they have been called to do. Complete with curriculum that you can use in your own Bible School.

Almost two-thirds of the world's population has never heard the Gospel message.
-Over a thousand people groups have never been penetrated for the Lord Jesus Christ.
-Many tribes have never received their first missionary.
-There are approximately 1,700 languages without the written Word of God.
-The world's population will double in less than 50 years.
When we think of statistics like these in terms of fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ to take the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to every creature, we realize we are faced with a great task. This course is written to mobilize and equip believers to fulfill this great challenge. It is a tremendous task, but it is not impossible. Most courses on evangelism focus only on the command to "go" into all the world with the Gospel. They emphasize preaching and teaching the Gospel message. This course differs because it also focuses on what Jesus said to do "as you go" and the New Testament Church pattern of what to do "while you are there."

Ministry Office: Administrations: Top 21 Credits:  (Cost $69 US)  On-Line Enrollment Form  The office of Administration is usually one of the offices that are not well covered, but it is the person with the gift of administration that is able to work with all of the gift offices so no one is left out. This is a very powerful gift as it is the administrator the brings the unity and cohesiveness to the body. The administrator will be able to identify the needs and be able to bring others along side to help resolve the needs. Learn when mass outreach works, and when it doesn't. Create strategies for connecting people to the life of your church. Overcome the top 10 reasons people don't invite others to church.  Ministry Office: Prophetic Training: Top 38 Credits: (Cost $122 US) On-Line Enrollment Form Today in the realm of spiritual warfare there is a great movement against the true apostle and the prophet as Satan knows that they are the feet of the body and working in unity they will move the body in the direction that Jesus wants the body to go.  Because of this confusion there are today more than 2,000 Christian denominations when really there is only one body.  The church for the most part has dismissed in error the offices of the apostle and prophet.  Today there is a belief that we should not trust each other but only trust God and while in part that may sound correct as we are to look to Him for all things, that belief also inhibits the very work of the Holy Spirit to work through others. We seem to like messages that we agree with, but that is not always what is best for us. It is like letting a small child loose in an ice cream store.  The reason we were given the apostle and the prophet is that they, when working in unity bring balance to the body and protection for the body against separatism which works to destroy the body today.  What happens is that when we do not seem to agree, we have a tendency to start another church or denomination taking others who will listen along.  This creates division and weakness in the body and the body cannot stand if it is divided. Our strength in spiritual warfare is in unity and love. Description of Courses and Optional studies

Ministry Office: Missions Training: Top 41 Credits:  (Cost $144 US) On-Line Enrollment Form  Rescue Mission, Fellowship House Administrator, Foreign. Rescue Mission, Fellowship House Administrator, Foreign. We involve ourselves in God's mission to take His love to all people everywhere when ever we proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples, and work to meet the needs of mankind. Our mission begins at home and in the workplace. We start out with involvement at our local church and find that God will often take us to the "ends of the earth."  Studies include creating a ministry plan for outreach, how the plan will be implemented  and how the outreach or ministry will be funded. Description of Courses and Optional studies

Optional Add on: Author Preparation: How to Write, Publish &  Market Your Manuscript or Book Study Course. Top  5 credits: Cost ($25 US) On-Line Enrollment Form  Basic study designed to give the foundation of how to write and get your work published. (In addition to the basic study you may also want to enroll in one of the categories listed below for Christian authors. These additional studies can be taken at the same time as the basic course). This study has been written both for those that have written a book and those that have not. The study offers step by step instruction, whether you decide to self publish, go through an agent or broker or through a publishing house this book offers guidance and inspiration from an author that has been through it all. Have you always wanted to write a book, but didn’t know what to write about or how to start? Have you dreamed of being an author, of publishing your own work and earning money from it? If you have direct experience in anything (ministry, testimony, job, hobby, skill, travel, etc.), you can write a book. Stop reading for a moment and think of those experiences about which you could write.

List three of those experiences:

1.

2.

3.

You have just documented three possible subjects about which you could write a book. Before reading this, you had no ideas; now you have three. Are you interested? If so, continue reading. Starting is the most difficult part of writing. Many people become discouraged because they don’t know how to begin. Learn the basics and succeed while others fail. This study helps you start by explaining the simple steps to creating a productive writing environment— one that lets you be an author and work your daily job. This book reveals the secret that no other does—how to start, the first step. Knowing this alone makes it a valuable possession, but there is more.

(Sample taken from every ODB course study introduction.)

There are five parts to learning:

1) Don't have a clue

2) Data: which is simply the ability to remember information

3) Knowledge: Which is having the data and knowing what it means. For example many can quote scripture backwards and forwards but they do not really understand what it all means.

4) Application: One step up from knowledge and this is where we begin to have some practical experience not only on what scripture says, but begin to learn how to apply it. One ingredient still missing which is experience and how it all works and comes together.

5) Wisdom: which is having the information, knowing how to use it, being able to apply it in our own lives which will bring wisdom so we can help others.

Our prayer is that everyone reaches wisdom level on all what the courses are about because without wisdom which is knowing what He says is not only true because we believe it but we have experienced it. If we have not experienced His love, mercy, power, relationship and forgiveness it is much like selling used cars. If we are selling used cars or rather concepts that we have never experienced ourselves, we will never be able to build good relationships with others or even God. Once we have wisdom and begin to build relationship with God and others then we begin to fit and function into the body and our particular calling and purpose.

The courses are good and have good information but what is important is the final product or end result of being in the body, being able to function in it and being able to encourage and exhort others in the body to work as one body in Him. Usually it is not God's will that hold us back but our functionality or lack of it. Throughout the ODB, web site you will see references made as to the definition of Christ. We have come to understand that Christ is made of two parts working together. The first part is Jesus the head and the second part is us, the body working with Him and each other as one body to accomplish His will on earth as it is heaven. To accomplish this we preach Christ crucified, not just Jesus who died for use some 2,000 years ago that we may live, but the body dying to our own wills and desires working together in relationship covenant to accomplish His will as we die daily to self and learn to surrender to Him and His will for us. While we recognize this is process that takes time this should be our desire, to work with Him and to work with the body daily and that should be of primary importance to us everyday of our lives. If we all did that, this world would be very different. Our focus shows our heart as our focus and what we focus on, we become. Should we focus on the world and the solutions of the world we become like the world and no better. If we stay focused on Him and work with His body then we become like Him, which is our salvation. It is the same for all of us. Christ truly is the only way for things to get turned around in our lives. When our lives turn to Him it will effect all others around us and we become the light of the world and shine a path to Him.

What is this about? You might be asking yourself and it is a fair question. What it is all about is relationships and partnerships with Jesus and the body. It is in forming these relationships with each other and Him as the focal point that allows us to do or accomplish what we have been called to do. How are relationships formed? By experience not only with each other as part of the body but with Him as well. Many can quote scripture back and forth but when asked what that really means or how to put scripture to practical use in everyday life, many believers do not really understand, however they still quote scriptures at people and because they do not understand the ones they are trying to help usually go away lost.

For lack of a better example, the body and relationships are much like a boat and it is either it is a boat that can sail through the seas rough as they may be or the boat is like the Titanic and does a nose dive. Folks we are all in this together and even scripture tells us that one part of the body cannot get ahead of the other parts of the body. We as a body on the one hand can do all things through Christ which is head and body and on the other hand we can do nothing without Him. These courses and your efforts to help people is very much like taking a journey together. How it works is that when you meet someone in need and try to help you are either on your own or you take the body with you. If you think about it you have a much better chance of helping others if you take the body with you. It is true for all of us.

In this journey together we are going to be setting some learning and teaching goals. The reason I say learning and teaching as you are learning this minute but as you go along in your ministry you will be teaching those in need to set goals as you will be doing, using key concepts and principles and then analyzing whether it is working or not and making adjustments along the way. What does that mean in real terms? Basically learning to stand on His word both written in scripture logos, and His spoken word to you, rhema. When we learn how to stand on what He has given us we become the light for others to see, so they can see the path. However if we never stand one what we have been given or stand on what we understand and try to tell others to they will see us a phony and instead of leading someone closer to God we actually end up pushing them away.

What you will find in the studies is His word and if you are open to His voice He will be speaking to you. the next step is to put these concepts that He has given to us, His bride, Hid body that we will be able to walk in His light and power and be able to help others as we do some self examination along the way. It is at that point you will be able to use the information not just in data or knowledge but in application to everyday life with wisdom. The point in helping others is not to quote scripture at them but share with them the wisdom you have gained as you have walked in the light yourself.

What I will need you to do so we can help you along the way is to tell me when or if you do not get it! I promise you that no one will make fun of you. We all have to go through this so we know down deep inside the truth. This is really an new beginning for many of you and a different way to look at things. Some may be wondering if we all have to go through everything that there is to go through? The answer is no if we are connected to the body as others in the body have experienced things that you have not, however it is in your relationship with others in the body that will help you become established in your ministry as you can draw from their experiences as well as your own. This is what makes teaching and more importantly learning fun and I encourage you to share the experience with others. You will be blessed.

We are responsible…..

When anyone, anywhere, reaches out for help, We want our hand always to be there. For that  we are responsible.

We are responsible both to God and each other.

"Together we can make a change, we can make a difference!"

"God gave us His Son, Spirit, Love, Direction, Purpose, Gifts, and free will. He gave us all the basic tools to either care for Him and others or care just for ourselves.

It is a choice either way, to either learn to work together to solve problems, but at the end, when it is all said and done, our true hearts will be exposed. We are given two things to do, love God and love our neighbor as ourselves.
