Our Daily Bread, MissionsPROPOSAL
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:
Jesus and the body are called to destroy the works of the devil, (1 John 3:8). We through Him have been given the anointing, power, and authority to get the job done. We have been commissioned by
Him to do the same things that He did, and greater. He called us the light of the world and the salt of the earth not because of who we are, but because of who dwells in us, Jesus the Messiah. We have been called to carry on His work.
Together, the body can light the world. We can put an end to disease, starvation, and addictions, the very works of the devil. To do this will take God’s power, love, unity, and teamwork from the body as we believe and act in faith.
While many see doom and despair, we at ODB, see promise through His covenants and are encouraged as revival is present in many spots across the globe bringing solutions and productivity. The solution, in part, is to seek God in unity for the answers and act on them. When we look to God, we change. This change not only effects us, but our families, schools, work, community, etc. We become the men and women of God that He wants. It is not about denominations and denominational rhetoric. It is about the body of Christ working together to accomplish God's will. Denominations divide and Christ unities in love. Truly, if we the believers would turn our eyes back to God instead of denominations, the world would not be the same, (II Chronicles 7:14). You will find the ODB seminars and programs offered have been designed to:
Bring believers together in love, seeking Jesus for direction and answers to problems!
Show the impact we as believers have had and can have on the world!
Open the door through a process of self-examination by looking at beliefs and there origins!
Help believers to re-dedicate their lives as their relationship with God is renewed. bringing new meaning and purpose.
Encourage believers to become more involved!
We do not work against the church, but work to support the work of the church. Let’s face it, we need more of Jesus, and His help to get the job done and that will only happen if we the body are willing to work together in love and unity.
The proposal is simple. History teaches that denominations bring division and unity and love brings God and His will. We, any of us work to build denominations or the body of Christ. The guarantee is simple and backed by the blood of Jesus. Work together in love and unity and we will get God's result and provision, do otherwise and there will be division and problems.
The Ministry of Our Daily Bread is Jesus’ ministry as He still extends His hand to help and give us His message, "Come unto me all ye that are weak and heavy laden and I will give rest". He also wants us to come to Him for all things and in all of our ways to help direct us before it is to late. We may not have all of the answers, but through Christ (head and body) we can do all things.
We have been give the power of God to take back from Satan that which he has stolen, but it is up to us the body to work together.
We look forward to working with you!
The Problem and the Solution
The Problem is Not:
DRUGS
ALCOHOL
GAMBLING
PROSTITUTION
ABORTION
POVERTY
CRIME
PORNOGRAPHY
POLICE
GOVERNMENTS
HOMELESS
MONEY
WARS
UNEMPLOYMENT
STARVATION
PRISONS
DISEASE
ETC. ETC. ETC
The Problem Is:
Sin: The symptoms of sin are the addictions and sickness released by triggers, which are the results of deep seated unresolved hurts from our past associated with our unmet needs. The other problem is the believer, (II Chronicles 7.14) and the believers inability to understand who we are in Christ, our purpose as individuals, and as the body. We are given the power of God to intercede.
THE SOLUTION ISChristians reaching out to others in love and acceptance. Once that is done healing can take place. People cannot be healed if they are being judged. Then the addictions and the sickness, the yokes and bondage of sin, can he broken. Healing is required many times for the believer and the non-believer. Any other method of resolving problems becomes a mask and the problems will be manifested in other areas.
The solution for the second problem is repentance. We as the body need to turn back to God for the answers for all of our life's problems before it is to late. The believers, as leaders need to take responsibility for the community for things to happen. When we own our problems, it is then we can solve the problems by seeking God. Then instead of being victims, we become conquerors. By prayer and becoming involved, interceding in our communities, we can stop the addictions, disease, reduce crime. As believers we need to stand together on the Word, in faith, standing in the gap.
WHO WINS? WE ALL WIN! WE CAN REDUCE CITY AND STATE COSTS! INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY AND BRING THE CONTROL BACK TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY!
When the church, the body of Christ, reaches out to the community to help those in need, we all win. There is less waste, and less cost. The result is less crime, addictions, sickness, and problems in general. This is the promise in Deuteronomy 28. Today God is waiting for the church to turn from their ways and turn back to their first love, Jesus.
When we look to the government to supply our needs, the government gets the glory. The government can actually become the golden calf. Turning from God causes massive health care cost, wars, massive armies, massive governments and the taxes to pay for it all. The cost of one cruise missile is 1.2 million dollars. The cost to incarcerate one inmate is $29,000 per year. The costs to fight the drug war, which many people believe we will never win, is staggering. The fact is, things are currently not working and for the believer, to believe, that they are working goes against scripture.
Second Chronicles 7:14, tells us the problem and the solution. If "my people"...this is not talking about the unbeliever, but the believer. It is the believer that needs to turn back to God. Why? It is the believer that has the power of God, His promises, blessings, or curses. We can no longer sit and look to Heaven for the Messiah to bail us out of our problems, which is what Israel did at the time of Jesus. The Messiah dwells in us, and if the job is going to get done, it will be the believer standing in faith and obedience, through Christ, that will get the job done.
Many believers are looking for Jesus to return to solve the problems, which is why many are not getting involved. They believe it is God's will for the world to come to an end. Their reasoning is based on the book of Revelation, as Revelation tells us that there will be an end, but it also says that He will be coming back to a luke -warm church, which He also said that He will spit out of His mouth. Why would God want to destroy what He created? The only time God has destroyed anything is because of a lack of faith and disobedience to His Word! It is not God's desire to destroy the world or the people who live on earth. He sent His Son, Jesus to die for all of us. Jesus gave up His own will and agenda for His Fathers and He is calling His body to do the same. God wants us to be healed and live in victory, not defeat. Today many believers do not understand who they are in Christ, or their authority, nor responsibility, nor do they understand His will.
Ephesians 5:17, tells us that God wants us to know His will. Together we can make a difference: We are all a part of the ministry whether we accept the challenge or not. It is time for the believer to stand in unity and love in a common cause. As change happens in us, we yield further to God. This effects everyone around us. Jesus is the answer and by the body working together we bring glory to Him as we overcome the mountains of problems in our community. We are all in this together.
IF IT'S GOING TO BE DONE, IT IS UP TO US!
THE FIVE PRINCIPLES OF SUCCESS:
1. URGENCY
We the body can no longer sit by and wait. The cost of waiting and not acting on the Word is disease, wars, increased crime, addictions, and starvation, all of which decrease the quality of life.
2. OWNERSHIP
II Chronicles 7:14, speaks about the believer. We need to turn back to God and humble ourselves, seeking Him, asking Him for direction, and help. For some time believers have thought that the problems of the world are the fault of the non-believer, but in reality they are the fault of the believer.
3. LEARNING BY DOING
We as the body need to understand who we are in Christ, our authority, responsibilities, and act on that authority. Next we need to seek a vision and the guidance to know His will so we as a body can work together.
4. LIFE LONG LEARNING
As we talk with Jesus we can never afford to think that we know it all and are doing everything that we can. We need to continue to study (II Timothy 2:15).
5. MOTIVATION FOCUS ON THE STRENGTHS. WHAT WE DWELL ON INCREASES!
