Partners, Ministers, Volunteers, Schools & Services Are About Advocacy Volunteers Working Together, We Can,...Make a Difference! "We will see the nations turn, touching heaven changing earth!" We Stand Together! "Can Two Walk Together
Except They Be Agreed?" "And the LORD answered
me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run
that readeth it." "...therefore in their land they shall possess the double:
everlasting joy shall be unto them." Volunteer Work: The Opportunity of A Lifetime Volunteer work is about helping others and perhaps even saving lives. It is about helping those in need, no matter what the need. Last year there were almost ten million hours donated in helping people and saving lives. Why do people do this? It’s not the money. Volunteer work and doing the work of the Lord is about doing the right thing! There is personal satisfaction in knowing that you are serving God for whatever we do to the least, we are doing for God. God blesses His work and all those that get involved. It is stepping out in faith. Often times it is like a savings account to many. We save money for a rainy day or a need down the road. When we as Christians become involved and help in His name it is like having a savings account: An account of grace. The more we give, the more we receive. Some of our volunteers are mothers with children in school, men that work in prison ministries or who are willing to meet people in their community that may need help or even people who are retired. But it is all because these people have a heart for God and desire to see His will done on earth. If you fit into this category we have a great opportunity for you. We help you help the community. We serve as a matchmaker between you and organizations that need your skills. If you have an interest and are willing to share your experience with others -contact us, there are many opportunities that need you. Choose Where to Share Your Experience ODB, volunteers have great flexibility. There are many private, non-profit, church, and public organizations the need your help. You have the freed to give as many or as few hours as you like and take on a regular or full time assignment. Some jobs, depending on the need, may be preformed at the organization, in the community, or from home. Volunteers may choose to continue using professional or work skills, apply a hobby, fulfill a personal dream, or contribute whatever and wherever needed. Whatever the selection, ODB volunteers enrich the community, neighbor, and themselves. A Lifetime of Rewards
