Career Opportunities in Ministry: Pastoral Counseling

John 15:16-17 "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. These things I command you, that ye love one another."

Did you know that you can be in a career that helps people in a closer walk with God, helps resolve personal issues, and bring resolve to local problems as well while making a good income?

Our Daily Bread, Ministries is looking for people trained to be Pastoral Counselors. Let’s face it, people have problems and as we all know God is the solution, but few people know how to get what they need. ODB, Pastoral Counselors are trained to help people in their problems through Christ.

As a part of the study to become a Pastoral Counselor you will receive:

Cognitive Restructuring Study: Learning to walk in the Spirit and not the flesh. Study shows why events in our lives occur and often times continue to plague us in our relationships, work, finances, and of course more importantly keep us from many of the blessings that God has for us.

God’s Covenant Study: In depth study shows the relationship that we can all have with God and what His Covenant really means. Did God create us to be good victims or do we have a Covenant that allows us to overcome all things, heirs to the Kingdom. The choice is up to us. The Covenant shows how to have a better relationship with God, others, caring for one another, which can change everything.

Teaching Tactics: Strategies and teaching methods are explored. From a physiological standpoint we all learn differently, which is why we do not always get the point. By being in the Spirit we are able to learn faster and are able to retain more. Cognitive Restructuring deals with beliefs and how they can hinder our learning ability. Teaching Tactics teaches how to reach out to others.

Biblical Promises: This is part of our inheritance, not jus to for the here after, but for today. Scriptures provided are designed to meet our needs.

Brochures and Templates: As a part of the package you will receive on Microsoft Word and Microsoft Desk Top Publishing formats for brochures, business cards and all the materials needed for a successful outreach.

You will also receive upon completion of the study a certificate from Our Daily Bread, Bible Institute showing the successful completion of the studies. In addition, you also be qualified to be a member of the Association of Pastoral Counselors and receive from Our Daily Bread, Missions referrals that we receive from your area.

Cost of the certification program is $79 plus $6.95 S&H and is either available on CD-ROM or 3.5 floppy. To get started in a Career that helps others, print and fill out the form provided below and send appropriate fee. Keep a copy for your records and send the other to:
