ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR MATH EDUCATION Full-time, Fall 2001 Responsible to teach courses included in the mathematics teacher licensure program preparing teachers for licensure in grades 5-12 and supervise student teachers in cooperating public and private middle schools and high schools. Advise students within the mathematics and mathematics education teacher licensure program, as well as assist in the ongoing development of the teacher licensure program. A Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Mathematics Education is required. A minimum of three years of successful full-time teaching experience in grades 7-12 is essential. Expertise in mathematics instructional methods, K-12 mathematics curriculum, and mathematics content is necessary. Expertise in instructional technology is desired. REFERENCE/BIBLIOGRAPHIC INSTRUCTION LIBRARIAN Full-time, (11 month faculty position) Responsible for the ongoing development, enhancement and maintenance of formal, effective Reference and Bibliographic Instruction services for the Berntsen Resource Center (BRC) and its clientele. Master’s degree in Library Science from an ALA accredited program and a minimum of three years of Bibliographic Instruction and Reference experience in an academic setting is required. Previous experience in providing Reference and Instruction for Distance Education programming is desirable.
