"I will Remember My Covenant." Luke 11:2-3, 2) So He said to them, When you pray, say: Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 3) Give us this day Our Daily Bread. John 15: 4,5 & 7 4) Abide in me, and I in you, As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. 5) 1 am the vine ye are the branches, He who abides in me, and I in him, bears much fruit; and without Me you can do nothing, 7) If you abide in me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. It is the desire and prayer for us to look at what God really wants for each of us, and to know His perfect will in our lives. Many today doubt and as a result Satan has an edge against us. Here are ways to know His will if we look at the scripture that is provided. Once doing so, we will see that we can get back on track if we do not know His will and allow Him to lead and put Him first in our lives. In the first scripture listed we find a part of the Lord’s prayer. This is a prayer that He told us to pray. One of the reasons he told us to pray this prayer was because of John 15:7,tells us if My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. What we have here is a command from Jesus that tells us if we love Him we will pray this prayer. Why? So that the will of the father be done on earth as it is in heaven. In heaven as we all know there is no sickness, no disease, no starvation and no poverty. In fact gold there is nothing but pavement. We know by looking at this scripture that God our Father does not want us to suffer, but to have life and have life more abundantly as it states in another scripture. It is His will that we partake of the good things of life.. It is also His will that we grow into maturity as it states in Ephesians 4:11-16 when we are give the five fold gift ministry. When some are called to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some preachers and some teachers. The reason that we were given these people is so that we would grow to maturity as we read further in the scripture. Can you imagine heaven full of babies? Babies are adorable, but really all they are good for is eating, sleeping and pooping. Can you imagine heaven full of diapers? Neither can God! That is why he gave us these people to look after us so we would not be tossed to and fro by the winds of doctrines. In the scripture in John we see another part of His will. We are to abide in Him so He can abide in us. This is powerful as God dwells in us if we invite Him in and we invite Him to direct us every day. When we do this we are trusting Him in all things and not leaning to our own understanding, but in all of our ways we are acknowledging Him and He directs our path. He sees the whole picture and knows what is best and the safest for us. He has promised us that He will take us by the hand if we let Him and lead us into all truths. He will not only do this but will lead us into success as He is doing the driving. Many today go back and forth wondering what His will is. First understand, before anything else, He wants to be Lord in our lives. The second thing is that he wants a close and personal relationship with all of His children. This is for us, He already knows everything about us. We need to know first hand what He will do for us so we can stand on the truth. The more we do this the more we are standing on faith and the more we stand on faith the more mature we become. The more mature the more we can reach out to others and help others and show them the way instead of just preaching at someone. Our testimony is one of the most powerful tools that we have against Satan and his demons. By standing up in allegiance to the lamb we stand in accountability and will move mountains for God, as He is given first place in our lives. This is what God wants in our lives, to be given first place; then He can fix the rest in us, as He wants us to be co-workers with Him, representing His will to all and accomplishing all things through Him who strengthens us. " God gave us His Son, Spirit, Love, Direction, Purpose, Gifts, and free will. He gave us all the basic tools to either care for Him and others or care just for ourselves.
It is a choice either way, to either learn to work together to solve problems, but at the end, when it is all said and done, our true hearts will be exposed. We are given two things to do, love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. |
