Music Ministries Apostles Lutheran Church, located in Brandon, FL (east of Tampa) has an immediate opening for a part time Director of Music Ministries. The music ministry includes an adult choir, adult vocal ensembles,instrumentalists, handbell group and children’s choir. The Director of Music Ministries is responsible for leading the adult choir and special music every Sunday and at additional worship services, planning music for all services, and other duties as required. The current music staff also includes an organist, who could continue directing handbell and children’s choir if needed. Requirements for this position include a formal music education and experience in directing a variety of styles in choral literature, a strong Christian commitment, and the personal leadership skills necessary to lead a growing music ministry.
