About the "Problem"

We all know the problems. Globally some 14,000 people starve to death daily, which creates a host of other problems, such as increased crime and drug abuse. The real problem is a lack of love and unity in the body of Christ and a willingness to work as one body for His will to be accomplished globally and locally.

Every believer is called by God to be an example and each of us are an example of how things can work in love and unity or we are an example of why things cannot work. Each of us either lives a life of love and acceptance or we carry the spirit of division. We are either united or divided and the enemy knows how to divide and conquer. We either promote one concept or the other and each of us will have to give an account in the end as to what we did in life in either promoting love and unity or division. WE, each of us promote God's way in unity of we promote iniquity.

Love or the lack of love and unity effects us all. Lack of love increases the problems. In the lack of love we become victims. In God's love we can overcome by His blood. Without Him there is no hope and salvation for today and for eternity. He is love and unity. The enemy is lack of love and unity and each of us accept one or the other.

Governments do not have the solution. History is a great teacher if we are open to learning. In fact, many government leaders have thrown up their hands because they do not see any solutions to these problems. Only God and through His Son, the Five-Fold Gift Ministry and the Body of Christ can do anything about what is happening, but we must work in love, unity and forgiveness to accomplish anything.

More taxes and throwing more money at the problem are not the solution. These problems un-solvable by man, and can only be changed by Jesus as these things are matters of the heart. When the heart is changed, everything changes; work, home, service to God and the community. People become productive, giving instead of taking.

When the church does what it is called to do and move in love and unity all win; individuals, families, the church, and the community.

How it Works!

God's way is long term solutions. Man's way is short term patches.

By the church understanding the needs of individuals and responding to those needs in unity (corporately as one body), interceding and seeking God in prayer, Jesus will supply the need as we judge by what we do or do not do.

Jesus has called His church (body), to be holy. To be a light!

The Solutions to the Worlds Problems rest in the hands of the believer! II Chronicles 7:14 God has promised that if we come in humility, turn from our wicked ways, God will hear our prayers and heal the land.

Recognizing that there are many who have dedicated their lives to help solve the problems, Our Daily Bread, Missions has worked together to design Partnerships in Ministry, combining and utilizing the resources of existing ministries, local churches to care for the needs of individuals in local communities.

Working with existing Partner churches and ministries all can be reached with God's love and provision. ODB promotes and supports the work of member church and ministries, supplying skilled workers and tools needed in order to reach all in a given area. This is accomplished by understanding God's plan, seeking God and His will and for the body to work together in love and unity.

It's a Choice!

James 1:22, 2:15-18 We the church are called to be doers of the Word and not hearers only! James is not talking about just preaching, but interceding, loving our neighbor as ourselves.

If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food. And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doeth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

A Call to Action!

Its time for all believers to come together to pray, tithe, and become involved. We have the solution, but do we have the resolve? What can our excuse be? Do we have a choice for any future except to understand God's way and be willing to do it?

Catch the vision, together we can make a difference!

We need to all understand who we are in Christ, what our authority is and what is our responsibility to a hurting world. If we all understood our authority through Christ, (the anointed), and His gifts to us, the world could not be in it’s current shape. The costs of not working together and not seeking God is increased war, disease, poverty, droughts, starvation and death. It was never meant that we should have these disasters.

As a partner, either joining an existing chapter or beginning your own, you are joining a group dedicated to Jesus, God's plan and the work of His ministry. With your help we can reach all in the body to work as one body to accomplish His will. All can help with prayer. Some can help to gather the body to work together and some can help Support the work. Help us reach all in God's will.

Each chapter of Our Daily Bread, Ministries is self-supporting and helped by the the Alliance of Accredited Ministers and Churches, Association for Pastoral Counselors, and the Association of Accredited Bible Schools. As we work together to help each other the Body becomes stronger as we become one with Christ. Partners strive to live the life that Jesus lived and desire for God's will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.
