"I will Remember My Covenant."

We are a covenant people, but very few know

what God has given us.

Unity

"I will Remember My Covenant."

In the New Testament we have two words that are interchangeable for the most part. The first is unity, and the second is a phrase "one accord." To be one accord is to be one with each other and one with God.

Jesus in the book of John talks about being one with the Father and pray that the disciples are one with Him. By studying the scripture we can see that any time that this condition occurs a mighty work of the Holy Spirit happens.

In Acts chapter 16 we see Paul and Silas as they were in prison, beaten and abused. What they did is that they were praising God and in doing so were of one accord with each other and one with the Father. Suddenly, an earth quake happens and the chains and the very walls fell down. This miracle seems like a big deal upon a casual reading but it is something that any two believers can do as they are in unity and praying in the Spirit. We find that God inhabits His praise.

We look at David the King, and see that he had praisers going all the time. He knew the value of praise. What happens is that when we trust God for everything in good and in bad times, God will always see us through in any circumstance. This is one of His promises to US.

The thing that I would like to focus on besides unity and being of one accord is the word love. We in the body CANNOT have UNITY or be of ONE ACCORD, WHILE WE DO NOT HAVE LOVE, OR ARE JUDGING ONE ANOTHER.

Today in the church we talk about revival, so we hire someone to bring us revival. OR IF WE NEED HEALING, WE HIRE SOMEONE TO BRING US HEALING. What happens is we are telling ourselves that we cannot do these things without the aid of someone else, that they are super-dupper saints, that we do not posses the power. This is a lie as we are born again and all filled with the same Spirit. We all can do this if we have been practicing these things, we do not need someone special to do miracles as all ministries are to be in the street as Christ’s was. Christ moved by love and the Holy Spirit! The alter is good, but the body needs to bring people in. It is what we are all called to do!

The secret to revival is there is no secret. The secret to the gifts, revival or anything else that God wants us to accomplish is love. Churches today instead of just being hospitals, are to be training camps, but training camps that teach how to be led by the Spirit and love. it is the kind of love that Jesus has for us, the kind of love that tells us that He loves us, unconditionally. The kind of love that tells a person that from now on no matter what you tell me I will not judge you , but will love, accept and forgive.

It is the kind of love that tells a person that even if they blow it in the future and do something wrong they will still be loved and accepted and not judged. DO WE PLAY GOD? If we are judging one another we are. No where in the Bible does it say that we are to judge, and if we do we will be judged and harshly as that job only belongs to Jesus. We are to hold people up in prayer, love and care for them. We are to give of ourselves. If we have twenty dollars to our name and someone needs twenty, we are to love enough to give it to him. Whatever we do for the least of the brethren we are doing for God! FOR WHAT IS LOVE WITHOUT ACTION?

Jesus was our perfect example and I am not advocating that He has not or is not dealing with sin, but that is His Job, not the churches. We need to learn to accept people for what they are, and not try and change them. That is conditional love that none of us want and yet we try and put it on some one else as we want to be in grace.

When people feel totally loved and totally accepted every pew m America and in fact the world will be full as the world is full of hurts and judgments, and the world does not need more judgment, but love and acceptance and forgiveness. You can tell a church that is full of revival as they are full of love and acceptance, they are not into guilt or denial, but accept all the way they are.

REVIVAL IS NOT COMING IT IS HERE! When we carry the love of Jesus and people see this love they are moved to ask questions. This of course then turns into an opportunity to lead someone to the Lord. What has happened with churches is that we all have a tendency to seek programs, and systems, when what is needed is for us to turn our face to God as we have forgotten our first love, stop trying to change the world and love it to the point the Satan, hate and judgment are driven out.

Today we look at Jesus and look at the church and for some reason feel it acceptable to look at the two differently. Jesus is the head, and we are the body and THE WAY THE WORLD LOOKS AT THE CHURCH IS THE WAY THE WORLD LOOKS AT JESUS! If we want to change the way the world views Jesus, we have to first work on the way they view us. Many today will not accept Jesus as He is seen as a foreign entity that wants to judge and chastise us. I wonder were the world got this perception?

Love heals, as well as salvation, but that is the definition of salvation! Body, bring Love back and God will take care of the rest!

"Together we can make a change, we can make a difference!"

"God gave us His Son, Spirit, Love, Direction, Purpose, Gifts, and free will. He gave us all the basic tools to either care for Him and others or care just for ourselves.

It is a choice either way, to either learn to work together to solve problems, but at the end, when it is all said and done, our true hearts will be exposed. We are given two things to do, love God and love our neighbor as ourselves.
