"I will Remember My Covenant."
Mark 11:23-24
11) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea: and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he say shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
12) Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
There us a weapon that is used today that is far stronger than both bombs put together than those set off in Japan during World War II. This weapon with so much destructive power, but yet so small as anyone can carry this weapon with them.
This weapon has destroyed more lives, families and wrecked more homes than any other one thing a person can imagine. This weapon has caused more heart attacks, stress, disease and even death as it has created wars the world over.
The Power of Words!
The answer to this surprises most people but shouldn’t as it is a Biblical principle and it is a principle used in witch craft and the power of positive thinking. This weapon is words, yes used in their proper context they bring glory to God, and used incorrectly in the power of positive thinking or negative thinking is a product of witch craft. We may not realize it, but we either bring glory to Satan or God by what we speak.
Jesus said, no man can serve two masters. If our words do not glorify God, we glorify Satan. Not my words, His.
Have you ever heard the story bout the parent that continually told their child that they were no good and would wind up in prison? The strange thing is that the parents are surprised when it happens, but they predestined it to happen.
Who Is In Control?
Here are a couple of such weapons that have been devastating to all of us. First there is a statement and belief, that "God is in control." With this belief and statement what will our behavior be, "Well, let God deal with it as He is in control, as it must be His will." The scripture clearly says that Satan is the God of this earth, and the only way God has control, is if we become believers and give Him control of our individual lives. At best, most believers do not surrender all of their lives at the time they accept Christ. In fact many never give up total control!
Here is another set of powerful words, "The world is coming to an end, or Christ is returning soon." Listening to this over and over we can see that it would influence anyone as the belief created by this is " I can’t do anything about the world coming to an end so we might as well eat drink and be merry for tomorrow we die." The other thing that happens is the Christian community instead of jumping into the problems of this world and solving them, seem to back off a wait for God to come.
Now lets look at these statements and beliefs, who would prompt us to say these things? The scripture we used here says, whatever we say, believe and do not doubt! Who would be behind these statements. Jesus prayed and it is His will, that what is done in heaven is done on earth. What has happened is well meaning people have unwittingly been prompted by Satan. Believers are to come back with a good report and we are told to dwell on good things, pure and true things!
I some how don’t think we are to dwell on disease, death, starvation and pollution. We as believers are to command death, disease, sickness and sin as these things are of Satan. Who told us to command these things? Christ, as He is the example. In Hebrews 6:1-2 there are six doctrines listed giving us authority in the name of Jesus to command the things of Satan.
On the other hand words can also be used to create good and wonderful things. God created the world in six days, by words, His Words! God also gave us His Word, first to dwell in us, and secondly the Bible.
It is true, that Jesus said that He is coming again to save even His elect as they might be lost, if he did not. He knows that He is coming back to a mess, but that is not His will, nor His desire. He is to come back to a spotless bride, one who stays in Him and in truth. Are we in truth if we help spread these half truths? What we see happening today is what happened at the time Jesus was walking on this earth. The church today, as the church then has denied the power of God. We have denied His anointing. We as Christians have His anointing, but for the most part have denied its existence to change the world and put and end to Satan, destroying his works.
Can we change any of this? When we look to the little book of Jonah, we see when we repent, and put God first in our lives, he changed His mind about destroying Nineveh at that time and did not for another 150 years, when they decided to go back to their old ways.
While there is still some time to change, don’t you think we should all stop, and take the time that it requires to see what we are doing and were we are going? With Christ we can do all things! II Chronicles 7:14 tells us, "that if my people, who are called by my name.." The scripture is not talking about the unbeliever, but the believer to turn from their wicked ways. His promise is to heal us and our land. God wants to restore the land, not destroy it, and it will only be destroyed because the believer is not walking by faith, but by sight. Today I call upon you the believer that hears His voice to turn back to Him, before it is to late. His grace and mercy endures to all generations!

God gave us His Son, Spirit, Love, Direction, Purpose, Gifts, and free will. He gave us all the basic tools to either care for Him and others or care just for ourselves.
It is a choice either way, to either learn to work together to solve problems, but at the end, when it is all said and done, our true hearts will be exposed. We are given two things to do, love God and love our neighbor as ourselves.
